Resident evil 5 ps3 walkthrough
In this case, simply retreat and use similar tactics. The waves you meet on the other side of the wall will complicate the issue slightly as far as stealth is concerned, simply because they will jump out at you when you're close by. If and when they get close, switch to a shotgun and do them in proper. Use your sniper rifle to execute headshots from afar. As long as you're far enough away and don't run around or shoot your guns wantonly, you'll be able to get the jump on them each and every time. Remember the key - exploit their sensory weaknesses. In fact, even after the first, thickest wave is felled, you'll still need to deal with several smaller waves on the other side. As soon as you find yourself on this corridor, you'll find yourself amongst Licker Betas. To reach said corridor, move forward from the elevator, grab the Green Herb and other goods from the crate, and then swing leftward. The subterranean passageway you're brought to is essentially one huge U-shaped corridor with a chain-link fence separating you from the other side (no matter which side you're on). Then, grab the goods they dropped, explore the vicinity for more items in crates and the like, and head to the elevator at the far end of the room, which will bring you deep into this facility's basement.
Try to sneak up the stairs and fire on the remaining three or four Majini up here. After defeating this initial wave of thugs, search the bottom floor for goods (including a Green Herb) and then run up the stairs. Then, follow the on-screen prompts to fire, exposing yourself only in short bursts, to minimize the amount of time enemies can successfully return fire. Instead, you'll need to tuck yourself against the wall to the left of the entrance into the area. There's no cover to use here in the traditional sense. That's because it dumps directly into a room with about another seven or eight gun-toting thugs (and yeah, a couple with Stun Rods as well). Once through the door, you'll be greeted by a pathway that's a little too quiet.

You'll be attacked by another Stun Rod-wielding foe here, but there are some boxes full of ammunition to destroy, and a Red Herb to grab as well. But make sure to explore the closet to the left. When you've dealt with the last of the foes, the door ahead with the two green switches is the key. Then, return fire on the gun-wielding zombies, eliminating them with pistol fire (or, if you're feeling daring, sniper rifle rounds). Concentrate on the former, since they are more aggressive and have, frankly, a much more powerful weapon. Some of them are armed with Stun Rods, but most of them are packing AK-74s.
You'll have to deal with quite a few Majini here perhaps up to a dozen. Quickly move into the line of fire and seek cover. Gunfire will be shelling your position ahead and to the left. Smash the boxes to your left to grab some ammunition and other goods, and then proceed forward. Keep the Stun Rod-wielding zombie at bay especially, since that's a potent weapon indeed.Īfter killing the other two enemies (for five total, so far), head into the adjoining corridor. As you progress forward into the next room, two more enemies will attack, so be prepared. You'll need to keep cover in mind whenever gun-toting Majini are around. If you were wondering earlier in the game what good the cover system does against clumsy zombies, well, now you know. Switch out your sniper rifle in lieu of a pistol or shotgun, and eliminate the residuals. If not, run ahead and storm their position.
If you're skilled enough with the rifle, you should be able to fell all three foes before they can react to you and return fire. Break out your sniper rifle and carefully aim for a headshot at the Majini positioned closest to you. Begin to slink down the staircase towards them and stop about midway down, just when you can see all of the enemies ahead (there should be three of them, though only two might be initially visible). You can get the jump on these enemies if you're quick and quiet. And yes, these Majini are armed with guns. When you arrive here, you'll be introduced to a group of enemies down the stairs from you. Grab the goods from said crates, and then head leftward through another door. This will lead to a small storage area with four breakable crates to your right. Instead, continue forward in the direction you start facing, and head through the door.
You'll begin the chapter facing the direction you have to go, so while you can circle back around the platform and head down the other pathway, you'll find nothing but a dead end there. However, things are now considerably calmer, more well-lit, and less hectic. This chapter will begin in the same location as the boss fight took place in at the end of Chapter 5-1.
